Este restaurante, denominado Dano's, é novo no panorama da Quinta do Lago e está situado num complexo desportivo de última geração, o The Campus, (o FC Wolfsburg o usava para treinar em clima quente nas férias de inverno da Bundesliga na altura em que lá estivemos .). A comida é excelente e é uma boa mistura de comida inglesa / portuguesa. Há uma abundância de saladas saborosas saudáveis. Bifes eram bons e habilmente preparados. Eu tinha bochechas de boi assadas que vinham com purê de batata-doce e um molho escuro e saboroso. As bochechas estavam macias, gelatinosas e, oh, muito, muito boas. Minha boca está molhando novamente com a memória de tudo isso. Os doces iam da saudável salada de frutas frescas ao perigoso waffle de caramelo salgado com recheio de creme. A julgar pelos sorrisos e murmúrios de alegria vindos de toda a família, cada um atingiu o alvo. A configuração do restaurante com a sua cozinha aberta e o tecto muito alto é muito impressionante. This restaurant, called Dano's, is new to the Quinta do Lago scene and is situated in a state of the art sports complex, The Campus, ( FC Wolfsburg were using it for warm weather training in the Bundesliga winter break at the time we were there.). The food is excellent and is a good mix of English/ Portuguese food. There are plenty of healthy tasty salads. Steaks were good and expertly cooked. I had braised beef cheeks which came with sweet potato mash and a dark, savoury gravy. The cheeks were tender, gelatinous and oh so very, very good. My mouth is watering again at the memory of it all. Sweets ranged from the healthy fresh fruit salad, to the very dangerous cream filled salted caramel waffle. Judging by the smiles and murmurs of delight coming from all the family each one hit the mark. The lay out of the restaurant with its open kitchen and very high ceiling is very impressive. We were all extremely satisfied with ourselves for eating there and would urge anyone who visits Quinta to go and enjoy yourselves there.
