(Translated) A minha alma gémea e eu decidimos tirar uma fotografia profissional durante as nossas férias em Portugal e decidimos - depois de alguma pesquisa - contactar o Matt e a Lena. Esta foi com certeza a melhor ideia que poderíamos ter! A partir daí, desde o primeiro e-mail, soube que tínhamos feito uma boa escolha. Eles são super profissionais. Tudo funcionou perfeitamente, sem problemas. No dia das filmagens finalmente conhecemos esses dois pessoalmente, e posso apenas dizer, que você se sentirá muito confortável com eles e na frente de suas câmeras. Adoráveis, gentis, afetuosos e bem-humorados é o que vem imediatamente à minha mente quando penso neles. Até Lukas, que normalmente é muito tímido diante das câmeras, se sentiu confortável e gostou. E apesar de a praia estar bastante lotada, eles nos deixaram esquecer completamente disso. Ao falar da praia lotada: Nas fotos dá a impressão de que éramos os únicos, mas havia gente por toda parte. Habilidades de Photoshop nível 100, não sei como eles fazem isso. Fiquei um pouco chateado quando vi todas as pessoas lá curtindo a praia e tomando banho de sol, mas agora eu entendo por que Matt e Lena eram tão legais, não ligando para eles. E nós nos divertimos MUITA! Realmente, a filmagem em si foi uma experiência tão legal, nós rimos muito. E Matt e Lena eram tão dedicados. E os resultados, as fotos são simplesmente de tirar o fôlego, e melhor do que poderíamos imaginar, sem exagerar !! Mas convença-se, anexei alguns dos meus favoritos. Caro Matt e Lena, foi uma honra estar na frente de sua câmera. As fotos e memórias que temos não têm preço. Não poderíamos estar mais felizes. Muito obrigado! Você é o melhor <3 (Original) My soulmate and me decided to take a professional shooting during our holiday in Portugal and decided - after some research - to contact Matt and Lena. This was for sure the best idea we could have had! From there very first e-mail i knew that we made a good choice. They are super professional. Everything worked out just perfectly, without any problems. On the day of the shooting we finally got to know these two in personal, and i can just say, that you will feel so comfortable with them and in front of their camera. Lovely, kind, warmhearted and humorous is what comes immediately to my mind when thinking of them. Even Lukas, who normally is very camera-shy, felt comfortable and enjoyed it. And even though the beach was quite crowded, they let us completely forget about that. When talking about the crowded beach: On the photos you have the impression that we were the only ones, but there were people everywhere. Photoshop skills Level 100, I don't know how they do that. I was little bit upset when i saw all the people there enjoying the beach and doing sunbathing, but now I understand why Matt and Lena were so cool, not caring about them at all. And we had SO MUCH FUN! Really, the shooting itself was such a nice experience, we laughed so much. And Matt and Lena were just so dedicated. And the results, the photos are just breathtaking, and better then we would have ever imagined, without exaggerating!! But convince yourself, I attached some of my favourites. Dear Matt and Lena, it was an honour standing in front of your camera. The photos and memories we got are priceless. We couldn't be happier. Thank you so much! You are the best <3

(Translated) Fomos ao Algarve para celebrar o nosso noivado em setembro de 2020, e falamos com Matt e Lena se eles tivessem disponibilidade durante a semana em que estivemos lá depois de ver algumas das suas lindas fotos no Pinterest. Como viajamos da Holanda durante a Covid-19, não tínhamos certeza até o dia da partida se conseguiríamos entrar em Portugal. Matt e Lena entenderam isso muito bem e seriam flexíveis com nosso contrato de fotografia se necessário, então isso já nos fez sentir muito confortáveis! Encontramo-nos com eles em Alvor para uma sessão de pôr-do-sol e o tempo voou :) São pessoas muito doces e calmas por isso não demoro a ficar à vontade, mesmo quando há outros banhistas por perto. A propósito, com o qual você não precisa se preocupar, as fotos parecerão como se não houvesse ninguém por perto :) Adoramos como elas funcionam com a luz natural e como tentam capturar os momentos naturais para criar fotos que não parecem encenado em tudo, mas reflete as personalidades que estão fotografando. Altamente recomendado!!! (Original) We went to the Algarve to celebrate our engagement in September 2020, and reached out to Matt and Lena if they had availability during the week we were there after spotting some of their beautiful photos on Pinterest. As we travelled from The Netherlands during Covid-19 times, we weren't sure until the day of departure if we would be able to enter Portugal. Matt and Lena understood that all too well and would be flexible with our photography contract if needed, so that made us feel very comfortable already! We met up with them in Alvor for a sunset session and time flew by :) They are very sweet and calm people so it doesn't take long to feel at ease, even when there are other beachgoers around. Which you do not have to worry about by the way, the photos will look as if there was no one around :) We love how they work with the natural light and how they try to capture the natural moments to create photos that do not look staged at all, but reflect the personalities they are photographing. Highly recommended!!!

We knew we wanted to have two photographers so that the same setting could be caught from different angles. Matt and Lena have great chemistry and they work so well together which helped enourmously. They both settled into the background even in intimate famly momenets while we were getting ready - pictures that we'll now treasure forever without feeling like we had a mob of papparazi with us. (Original) Matt + Lena photographed our intimate wedding in Portugal in September 2019 and we couldn’t be happier with the results. They were responsive throughout the entire planning process and were flexible as our plans evolved. Coming from Canada, we appreciated their many thoughtful suggestions for locations and the consideration they put into how the lighting would be on the day and where the sun would set. They are wonderful people and we really felt that they went the extra mile to capture the best results. On our walk back from our shoot (after it had ended) they took advantage of the sunset and snapped one last photo, which became one of our absolute favourites. They are amazing, professional and we would highly recommend them. We hope to get the chance to work with them again.

On the wedding day they were so subtle taking all natural shots, you barely knew they were there, so it was easy to enjoy time with our guests. They were both so friendly and easy going and made having our family and couple photos really fun and light hearted. They also made sure we got lots of different natural back grounds including the beach at sunset which has made for some beautiful photos. We would highly reccomend Matt and Lena to anyone as they are so personable and you can tell they have a real passion for photography.
