Fantastic Indian food. Fresh, not greasy, really good vegan options (all photos vegan, if you call in advance they’ll do you a vegan cheese naan), super friendly staff, probably the best Indian food we’ve had in Algarve. Highly recommended.

This friendly, intimate restaurant serves the best Indian cuisine I’ve tasted in the Algarve. The dishes are freshly prepared, beautifully spiced and has delicious vegetarian dishes (this from a committed carnivore). Having said that, the Chicken Tikka Masala was a bit special. Açafrão bem cozido. (Original) Carvoeiro is very quiet at the moment due to Covid-19. We spent 2 days here this week and passed this restaurant. There were only 2 other people dining and we were reluctant to go in but we did and are we glad we did. The staff were excellent and the food was seriously good. I asked for bread that wasnt on the menu and it was no problem for them to make it for me. The value for money was excellent - dont pass this one by - we will definitely be back. Well Done Saffron.
